Mondays at 10am - This 45 minute class is designed to give you a full yoga experience with body warming Sun Salutations, alignment focused Asana (sequences of yoga postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises) and a short Savasana (relaxation). Perfect for All-Levels! Beginners are welcome and encouraged to attend, as modifications will be provided for a safe and satisfying practice. The body will find greater flexibility and improved balance, and an overall energetic peace. This class costs $8 to drop in.
If you would like to attend both classes on Monday, the cost for both is $15.
Carla has over 20 years of yoga experience and is registered with the Yoga Alliance (RYT 200). She also holds a B.A. in Biology and has a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology and proper posture alignment. She believes that yoga meets the individual where they are, no matter what physical limitations they may have. Yoga is for every one and she strives to make her classes accessible to all not only physically, but also financially. Students should bring a yoga mat and beach towel. Props including blocks, straps and bolsters are provided. The Kure Beach Community Center is a lovely and modern space offering free parking just a block from the ocean and Pier.
