Headed up by the Fire Department, Ocean Rescue is overseen by Fire Chief Harold Heglar and Assistant Fire Chief Ed Kennedy who are both full-time firefighters.
The Ocean Rescue team consists of 30 seasonal guards. This includes the following staff members:
- Head Lifeguard
- Assistant Head Lifeguard
- 30 Lifeguards
- Community Risk Reduction Specialist- New Position Within for 2017
