Earth Day Coastal Clean & Big Screen
The Kure Beach 75th Anniversary Celebration continues with the Earth Day Coastal Clean & Big Screen event on Friday, April 22nd at the Ocean Front Park. Show our beach some love by participating in a beach sweep at 6:00 PM organized by the Kure Beach Shoreline Access & Beach Protection Committee and event sponsor, Sunrise Broadcasting. Report to Ocean Front Park to register and receive your sweep location assignment, then head out for some beach combing. Circle back to the Park once you’ve finished to report your findings in the Beach Clean Up Scavenger Hunt. Stick around for a showing of the 2012 version of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax starting at 8 PM.
