If you have an issue or emergency related to our department's duties, please call us at 910-458-5816. We have a person who will answer your call, take your information and dispatch the necessary personnel to take care of your problem, no matter what time, day or night.

The Public Works Department is committed to providing professional and quality services to the citizens of Kure Beach. Our mission is to operate and maintain all divisions safely and in compliance with State and Federal Rules and Regulations, to give property owners, residents and businesses the best possible service for their money, and to make Kure Beach as easy to live in as it is to look at. The department's employees are very efficient, knowledgeable and hard working.

Public Works duties include:

• Water service
• Waste water collection and treatment
• Residential and commercial garbage collection and special trash collection
• Storm water maintenance and construction
• Street maintenance
• Maintenance of Town-owned properties, which includes buildings, grounds, parks, public parking accesses, administration and much more
