GARDENING 101 LECTURE & PLANT SWAP

The Kure Beach Community Center Committee has partnered with the New Hanover County Cooperative Extension Master Gardener program to bring a Gardening 101 lecture to the Kure Beach Community Center. This program is scheduled for Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM.

Join us for a free educational program geared towards the beach community in Southeastern NC where we will learn about native and low-maintenance plants, container gardening, vegetable & fruit gardening, and repotting techniques.

Our Speakers are knowledgeable volunteers from the New Hanover County Cooperative Extension Master Gardener program who are excited to share their insights with our community.

We would also like to encourage participants to bring clippings from their favorite plants to share for a plant swap!

Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
