GENEALOGY INTEREST GROUP STARTING IN SEPTEMBER
Do you want to know more about your family tree but aren't sure how to get started? Are you a seasoned genealogist who has hit a roadblock in your research and are looking for suggestions? Does learning about the role DNA plays in studying ancestry sound interesting to you? Would you be willing to share your experiences investigating your family history with others?
If so, then the Genealogy Interest Group (GIG) is for you.
Join with other family historians to share knowledge, learn new research skills, and make friends.
The GIG meets in the Kure Beach Community Center on the first Wednesday of each month from 9:30 - 10:30AM and again on the third Tuesday of each month from 7:00 – 8:00PM.
Genealogy enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels are welcome.
This program is sponsored by the Kure Beach Community Center Committee.
