THE KURE BEACH MARKETING ADVISORY COMMITTEE NEEDS YOU!

The KB MAC seeks to fill an open seat (alongside 6 other members) to help advise the Town of Kure Beach and the Wilmington/Cape Fear Coast CVB marketing staff about marketing and advertising efforts to promote travel and tourism to Kure Beach. With the significant growth in funding over the last 20 years (from room occupancy tax), the KB MAC plays a vital role in identifying what attractions and assets these funds are focused on, and in collaborating with the CVB on how the funds are used. Our committee is very enthusiastic about contributing to, and shaping, the impact of marketing efforts for the town of Kure Beach.

We are looking for someone who brings a solid marketing or business background that can actively lend their experience as we continue to manage & protect KB’s brand, make sure funds are being used effectively and develop ways to measure success against the town’s short-term and long-term goals. As such, the KB MAC continuously works to identify and prioritize features about KB across 6 major areas to drive the overall marketing strategy:  The Arts, History, Food/Lodging, Events, Environment, Exercise/Outdoors.
