RESIDENT TOURISM SURVEY OPENS MONDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2024

Dear Kure Beach Resident:

The Wilmington and Beaches Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is working alongside New Hanover County and the communities of Wilmington, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Wrightsville Beach to create the area’s first-ever Tourism Master Plan. The Resident Survey is part of Destination on the RISE, the planning process to create this 10-year plan. The CVB markets and develops the County’s and communities’ leisure and group travel experiences to improve economic growth and the quality of our area for residents and visitors.  

Please take the survey to share your thoughts and vision for tourism in Kure Beach. Your input will help inform the plan, which will align tourism’s direction and development with your community’s needs. Please complete the survey, which takes about 15 minutes, by Monday, Oct. 28, 2024. The survey can also be accessed via www.ResidentsSurvey.com.

We would like to hear from as many community members as possible. With broad input, we can shape a 10-year Tourism Master Plan that best contributes to resident quality of life. The survey will ask your thoughts on topics like tourism growth, tourism’s economic impact, tourism’s effects on our communities, and short-term rentals.
