UPDATE ON THE CAPE FEAR MEMORIAL BRIDGE

NCDOT has set March 26, 2024 as the opening of the eastbound lanes of Cape Fear Memorial Bridge ahead of schedule for the bridge preservation project. The bridge will remain open in both directions through the Azalea Festival. The westbound closure will begin at 7:00 pm on April 8, 2024. The westbound lanes are anticipated to reopen to traffic ahead of Memorial Day weekend.
