The Town of Kure Beach strives to provide its residents and visitors with the means to have fun, keep busy and engage in the community.
Joe Eakes Park, located off K Avenue on South 7th Avenue, contains tennis, basketball and bocce ball courts, baseball field, Disc Golf Course, play ground, dog park and a shaded picnic area.
The Kure Beach Ocean Front Park is located on Atlantic Avenue, near the Kure Beach Fishing Pier and fronts the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. This park houses an expansive pavilion, public restrooms, a kiddie play area with pirate ship and park benches and swings. The pavilion is available for rent for private events. The beautiful view of the ocean makes it a perfect location for beach weddings without the sand.
The Kure Beach Community Center is located on Third Avenue, near Big Daddy's Restaurant, and is available for rent for private parties, receptions, business meetings and other events.
