Employment Opportunities

Applicants must complete a Town of Kure Beach application to be considered. Candidates must successfully complete the recruitment process to include: Board Interview, Background investigation, Psychological Evaluation and Medical Examination with a drug screen.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Successfully completed NC Basic Law Enforcement Training and be Eligible for NC State Certification
  • 21 years of age at time of application
  • Valid North Carolina driver’s license
  • U. S Citizen
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • F-3 Personal History Statement
  • Kure Beach release of personal information Authorization Form
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • High School Transcript/ GED
  • College Transcript
  • Copy of Social Security Card
  • Copy of B.L.E.T Certificate
  • Copy of DD214 if served in the United States Military
