Parking Map
Look for signage stating 'CAMA Public Beach Access Parking', parking bumpers and white lines to indicate where it is ok to park. To view handicapped-friendly parking & crossovers, click on our Interactive Parking Map to the left. Parking spaces are also available along Fort Fisher Boulevard in marked spaces. If you don't see a parking bumper or white marked parking lines, then it's not a parking space! To help make your stay a pleasant one, please park in designated spots, only.
Dune crossover ramps are located at the following street ends (heading south along Fort Fisher Blvd): Ocean View Avenue, Spotters Court, N, M, L, K, J, I, H, G, F, E Avenues and Davis Road.
ALTERNATIVE PARKING AVAILABLE AT FORT FISHER STATE RECREATION AREA
Day-trippers might rather choose to park at the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area where there are restrooms and outdoor rinse stations available. The recreation area has a vast parking lot, picnic facilities and even allows you to walk your dog on the beach YEAR-ROUND! It is located only 5 minutes south of downtown Kure Beach, past the Fort Fisher State Historic Site. Just take a left onto Loggerhead Road as though you're going to the Aquarium at Fort Fisher, and the rec area is on your left! Paying a nominal fee at the park's office will allow you to drive your 4-wheel drive vehicle out onto the beach at the south end for some great fishing and swimming! Call the Fort Fisher State Recreation park office at 910-458-5798, for more information and hours of operation.
Please read and obey all Town signs for your safety and a worry-free visit to Kure Beach.
